Hi, I'm Christiam. Most people call me CJ, and I'm truly glad you're here.

I was born in Honduras and have called Minnesota home since 2005. I'm the second oldest of four, and when I'm not behind a camera you'll usually find me writing music or making time for the people I love.

I hold two Bachelor of Arts degrees from North Central University in Minneapolis, in Business Administration and Pastoral Studies. That education, and the faith underneath it, shaped how I approach both creativity and people. Intention, excellence, and care are not marketing words to me. They're how I was taught to work.

Photography started in college with a small dream of seeing one of my images in an Apple campaign. That curiosity turned into work with brands like Ivy Longboards, Penny Skateboards, Therapy Clothing Co., Travco, and Professor Pickleball. Along the way I second shot weddings alongside local photographers, photographed fashion shows, and sat on editing teams for brands including Rag and Bone NY. Every one of those rooms sharpened my eye and introduced me to artists who made me better.

The people who know me would say I'm outgoing, creative, approachable, and detailed, with a decent sense of humor. I take professionalism seriously. I also believe the best photographs come from genuine moments and real connection, which means my first job on a wedding day is making you feel comfortable enough to forget I'm there.

I bring steady energy and a calm attention to detail so nothing gets overlooked. I watch for what's needed before anyone has to ask. My hope is that your day feels effortless, and that the images still feel like you a decade from now.
